“I am a California Colorist painting en plein air and in the studio. My passion is to express with oil paint how light transforms color on the Sausalito waterfront, in local landscapes, and the vineyards of wine country.” Kay received a BA from the University of Wisconsin in English Literature, and an Associate Degree from the San Francisco Art Institute in painting. She has been included in fifty solo exhibits and hundreds of group shows, and her collectors range from corporations to individuals all over the US and Europe. She regularly completes commissions from her Sausalito Studio.
